BEFORE USING
- Remove all packaging & point of sale labels before use.
- Use the 25mm barrel curler attachment to create bouncy
curls & tight ringlets.
- Use the 32mm barrel curler attachment to create big
glam waves & curves.
- Use the 28mm waver to get lush waves
HOW TO FIT AN ATTACHMENT
- Always connect an attachment to the unit before
inserting it into the power outlet.
- Never touch a hot attachment. Always wait at least one
hour before removing a hot attachment and it has cooled
completely.
- Press down on the release button to add or remove an
attachment. Place the metal rods of the attachment into
the connectors inside the body of the unit.
HOW TO STYLE YOUR HAIR
1. Hair should be clean, dry and free of tangles before
using. Rest the iron on the heat mat provided to avoid
heating or burning your surface.
2. Long hold the power button to turn on or off. Short hold
the power button to increase or decrease the heat. The
lights will flash as the tool is heating up to the desired heat.
For healthier styling we suggest using 180°C/360°F heat
setting. The lights will flash until it reaches the desired
temperature.
3. Start by dividing hair into sections. Smaller sections will
create more defined waves and curls. Spray each section
liberally with a heat/thermal protectant. Be careful not to
touch the scalp with the tool. Hold for 2-5 seconds. Hold
for less time if hair is easy to curl, or if you want less
defined waves or curls.
4. Wrap the hair around the curling wands. Use your glove
on the hand that will be wrapping the hair. This will protect
your hand from the heat. If you use the waver, simply
clamp each section of hair.
5. Once you have finished waving or curling, make sure the
hair has completely cooled down before touching to allow
it time to set. For a beachy effortless wave, brush the
waves out or comb through. Finish by using an extra spray
of Mermade Mist for hold and shine, or a flexible workable
spray for more hold.
6. To turn off, press and hold down the power off button
until the light turns off. For your safety, the tool will auto
shut-off after 60 minutes. Allow tool to cool down
completely before stowing away. Make sure to wipe down
the tool after use to avoid product build up on tool.
HOW TO HOLD THE 28mm WAVER
Holding the waver in the flipped position will allow for
easier self-styling as you can see the hair through the
barrels so you can clamp each wave seamlessly. Work your
way down the hair evenly clamping each wave bend. Tilt
the waver upward to avoid any creases.
