Next, specify if you want to calibrate
the device gradient using one, two,
or three buffer solutions. To do so,
press the
"2PC", or "3PC" is shown.
Press the CAL key. The display
shows "CAL 1".
Insert the sensor into the first buffer
solution and then press the CAL key
again.
The device now determines the first cal-
ibration value. If the calibration value is
valid, "OK" appears on the display after
some time; otherwise "ERROR" ap-
pears (see note on page 27). In the lat-
ter case, repeat the process with an-
other buffer solution.
If you previously selected "2PC" or
"3PC", "CAL 2" is now shown on the dis-
play. Otherwise, calibration is complete
and the device switches back to meas-
urement mode.
If "CAL 2" is shown on the display,
insert the sensor into the second
buffer solution and press the CAL
key.
The order of the buffer solutions with the
various pH values is random.
The device now determines the second
calibration value. If the calibration value
is valid, "OK" appears on the display af-
ter some time; otherwise "ERROR" ap-
pears (see note on page 27). In the lat-
ter case, the device requests the second
buffer solution ("CAL 2") again.

ou «3PC», «CAL 2» apparaît mainte-
nant sur l'écran. Autrement, le calibrage
se termine ici et l'appareil retourne en
mode de mesure.
Si «CAL 2» apparaît sur l'écran,
vous plongez la sonde dans la deu-
xième solution tampon et vous ap-
puyez sur la touche CAL.
La séquence des solutions tampon de
différents pH est arbitraire.
L'appareil détermine maintenant la
deuxième valeur. Si la valeur est va-
lable, après un certain temps, «OK» ap-
paraît sur l'écran, sinon il indique «ER-
REUR» (voir indication page 27). Dans
le dernier cas, l'appareil demande de
nouveau à mesurer la deuxième solu-
tion tampon («CAL 2»).
