04. CHARGING

NOTEs:
Before first operation of the shaver in battery mode, you

should recharge the shaver for at least 120 minutes. approx.
90 minutes is sufficient for subsequent charging cycles.
In order to maximise the battery life, you should allow the

batteries to completely discharge before recharging them.
the shaver runs on 2 NiMH high performance batteries
Q
with protection against overcharging.
the batteries can be recharged without a risk of over-
charging or lowering performance.
Please note that the battery capacity will decrease dur-
Q
ing extended periods of storage. For this reason, long
recharging times should be avoided because of the inter-
ruption between the charging and discharging cycles.
If the batteries are discharged, the bottom LED lights up red
Q
when switching on the appliance.
1. Place the shaver on a level surface.
2. Connect the wall power supply to the shaver.
3. Insert the wall power supply into an easily accessible
power point.
4. the 5 LEDs of the charging indicator (9) flash in ascending
order next to the scale from 20–100. the LEDs remain lit if
the charging capacity has reached the respective value of
the scale.
5. the batteries are fully charged after a charging time of ap-
prox. 90 minutes. All LEDs remain lit.
6. After the batteries are fully charged, the device can be
operated cordlessly for about 95 minutes.
