General Information

Saftey Precautions
Caution: Read these operating instructions carefully before starting up any of the
components. This will avoid any damage or malfunctions resulting from incorrect use,
including those covered by the equipment and EMC specifications.
1. Installation may only be carried out by the customer service section or authorised
personnel according to the existing VDE regulations
2. Only operate the LED IR Illuminator with the stated voltage
3. External protection has to be provided for the power supply.
4. Never use the IR LED Illuminator for any purpose other than that for which it is
intended.
5. Repairs on the LED IR Illuminator may only be carried out by authorized
personnel.
6. Disconnect the device from the power supply immediately if any liquid or solid
matter enters the housing. Have the LED IR Illuminator checked by your
authorized dealer before re-using it.
7. Should any liquids enter the LED IR Illuminator, switch off the power supply
immediately and have the device checked by authorized dealer.
8. Observe any warnings attached to the LED IR Illuminator.
9. Install the Illuminator in such a way that no vents are covered. Make sure that the
vents are not covered by any foreign objects.
10. For safety reasons, you must maintain a distance of >1 m from the LED IR
Illuminator when looking directly into the IR Source in a darkened environment.
11. Please follow the instructions on the maintenance and care of the LED IR
Illuminator contained in these operating instructions.
