• Place the appliance on a stable, heat-resistant surface: do not use it on a soft surface such
as a table pad.
• Check that your electrical installation is compatible with the power and voltage on the tech-
nical specifications. Plug the appliance into an earthed socket only.
CAUTION
The grilling surfaces as well as the sides and the top of the appliance get very hot. Avoid any
contact. Only hold by the handle to avoid getting burned!

• Never use charcoal or any other combustible fuels with this appliance.
P RE H EATI N G YOUR GRI LL
1. Plug the appliance in and both lights will turn on. Turn the timer knob and set the temper-
ature to the "MIN" position.
2. When the appliance has started preheating, the green ready indicator light will turn off.
Now you can set the temperature knob to the desired setting. Different foods cook at dif-
ferent temperatures, and the temperature control knob allows to adjust it to your personal
preference.
3. Preheating takes, approximately, 3-5 minutes. When it reaches the desired temperature,
the green light will turn off and you may begin cooking. For best results, lightly coat the
