Caring for commercial use
- All Opti-myst ® Fireplaces operate with water
- For long-term operation, we strongly recommend distilled water (to avoid lime)
- Water is also "food" and need special attention (even distillate)
- Water can become contaminated quickly, if not replaced often enough, when not in use
- The sump needs to be cleaned regularly (running water, a little detergent and brush are sufficient)
- The transducer needs to be cleaned regularly (running water and the brush are sufficient)
- Side dripped water into the unit must be removed immediately
- Water that drips on the lamp holder can corrode the contacts
- Water that remains in the unit evaporates and settles on the lamp holder contacts
- The cassette cannot hang in the frame only, it needs to be mounted and fix at the two fixing blocks.
-Defective halogen lamps must be replaced immediately
- Defective halogen lamps lead to insufficient fog output and therefore condensation inside on the lampholder
- The halogen lamps and the transducer are consumable parts with improper care they fail after a short time and
need to be replaced; poorly maintained equipment will not be accepted as a quality defect
- We will not accept liability for inadequately maintained equipment
- Surrounding metal parts in touch with the product needs electrical connection to the product to earth all touchable parts
In public areas such as restaurants, bars, etc. are the above care instructions more important as more dust, dirt and
smoke is in the air and stresses the unit even stronger.
