platform may not be damaged or corroded.

13. Transport and storage

WARNING!
Risk of injury.
▪ To avoid any damage and accidents, make sure that the product is
properly secured during transport (e.g. on roof racks or in the car).
▪ Any loose parts must be fi xed before the product is transported or
stored (e.g. ropes or access hatches).
▪ The product must be stored in a clean, dry place and protected from
the weather.
▪ It may not be stored in places that may damage its condition (e.g.
humidity, high temperatures, weather conditions).
▪ It may not be stored in places where it can be damaged by vehicles,
heavy objects or dirt.
▪ It must be stored in such a way that it does not cause a tripping
hazard and does not obstruct anyone.

14. Packaging and disposal

▪ The packaging must be disposed of in accordance with the applica-
ble regulations and laws.

▪ Additionally fi tted accessories and add-on parts must be checked
for correct fi tting and fi rm seating.
▪ Do not use the product if any of the items listed above are not in
order.
▪ It must be stored in a position that helps to keep it straight (e.g.
suspended from a bracket on the bars or placed on a fl at, clean
surface).
▪ It must be stored in such a way that it cannot easily be used for
criminal purposes.
▪ If the product is permanently installed, ensure that it is not used by
unauthorised persons (e.g. children).
▪ Products made of or containing plastics should be stored away from
direct sunlight.
▪ Products made of wood or containing wood should be stored in a
dry place and may not be covered with opaque and vapour-proof
coatings.
▪ The product must be disposed of in accordance with the legal and
country-specifi c regulations.
