CAUTION
This appliance is designed with a protective coating around the heating coils. When plugged in and operated for
the first time, there may be a momentary burning smell. This occurs as the coating around the heating element is
heated for the first time. This is not dangerous for the user and does not indicate a defect in the unit. When using
the appliance for the first time, keep it working until the smoke dissipates. Smoke dissipates after about 30
seconds.
USE INSTRUCTIONS
• Plug the appliance into the power outlet.
• Turn on the curling iron by pressing the ON/OFF button.
• The curling iron will reach the working temperature in just a few seconds.
• Turn off the curling iron by pressing the ON/OFF button.
• Unplug the appliance from the power outlet.
• Let the curling iron cool before putting it back in its case.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:
Keep your appliance well maintained in order to ensure the best performance and to extend product life cycle. If
kept clean, the tubes will continue to glide easily through your hair. Heat can cause chemical elements (colourings,
treatments, mousse, sprays, waxes, etc.) on your hair to be transferred onto the tubes of the curling iron. After each
use, we recommend disconnecting the appliance from the power outlet; let it cool down and then use a damp cloth
to remove any residues from the tube. Do not use particularly aggressive agents on the tube of the curling iron.
Make sure that the appliance is completely dry before using it.
