This schedule is an average. Depending on the intensity of use of your equipment, Holmatro can
provide a specific maintenance schedule for you.

7.5

Maintenance activities

7.5.1 General
• Check the operation of the unit.
• Check the unit for damage and leaks. If the unit doesn't work properly and/or leaks, have it repaired
by a Holmatro Certified Technician.
7.5.2 Adding oil (Fig. 2)
• Open the combitool.
• Place the device with the blades face down in a vice.
• Open both filler caps (7) and gently add oil. Any air present escapes through the hole.
• Set the control in its neutral position. Vent the pump section by moving the pump handle up and
down a few times.
• Gently fill the tank until oil is visible in the mouth of the filling hole (the pump handle must be in its
lower position). If the oil is visible in the mouth, put the pump handle in its upper position and
continue to fill the tank.
• Close both filler caps.
• Put the pump handle in its upper position and release the sealing plug (22) in the plunger.
• Put the control in its neutral position. Move the pump handle downwards until air no longer escapes
through the sealing plug. Use a piece of cloth for possible oil leakage.
• Tighten the sealing plug again.
