1. Einleitung
Die Mastpositionslehre 4397 dient zur Er-
mittlung der richtigen Mastabstände sowie zur
Überprüfung der Verwendbarkeit des ausge-
wählten Fahrdrahtes
in Kurvenbereichen
.
2. Mastpositionslehren
An den Mastpositionslehren befinden sich je
zwei Stifte, die zur Fahrdrahtaufnahme
dienen. Die seitlichen Bohrungen dienen zur
Fixierung der Lehre und zur Markierung der
zukünftigen Mastposition.

3. Fahrdrahtabweichungs-
lehre
Mit der Fahrdrahtabweichungslehre kann die
Abweichung des Fahrdrahtes von der
Gleismitte überprüft werden. Diese darf 3,5
mm nicht überschreiten, da der Fahrdraht
sonst vom Stromabnehmer abrutschen
könnte.

With the mastposition gauge 4397 you can
establish the correct positions of the masts
and control, if you can use the choosen
running wire in curves.
2. Mastposition gauges
You can find two tacks on the mastposition
gauges. They can be used for fixing the
running wires. The holes can be used for fixing
the gauge and for marking the position of the
masts.

3. Running Wire Deviation
gauge
You can check the deviation of the wire from
the middle of the track with the running wire
deviation gauge. If the deviation is bigger than
3,5 mm, the running wire could slip from the
pantograph.

4. Anwendung
Setzen Sie eine der beiden Mastpositions-
lehren auf das Gleis auf und fixieren Sie diese
mit einem der beiligenden Befestigungsstifte
Viessmann
oder dem
-Spezialschrauben-
dreher 4199 an der Position des bereits
montierten Mastes. Stecken Sie dazu den Stift
bzw. den Schraubendreher durch die
entsprechende Bohrung der Lehre bis auf die
bereits vorhandene Befestigungsschraube
des ersten Mastes (s. Abb. 3).

Setzen Sie nun die zweite Lehre auf das Gleis
auf und hängen Sie den ausgewählten Fahr-
draht in die beiden Lehren ein (s. Abb. 4).
Achten Sie darauf, daß die Ösen richtig in die
Fahrdrahtaufnahmen eingehängt sind.

4. Using
Place the mastposition gauge on the track and
fix it at the position of the first mast with one of
the enclosed tacks or with the screwdriver
Viessmann.

For that, please put the
tack or the screwdriver through one of the
holes of the gauge, down to the fixing-screw of
the first mast (see figure 3).

Now place the second gauge on the track and
fix the running wire between both gauges (see
figure 4). Please check, that the eyelet is
correctly fixed on the running wire fastening.
