Allgemeine Funktion
Der
Grenzwertgeber
VGW-2
dient zur
Ausgabe
von
Grenzwerten bei Normsignalen (0-10
V,
014-20 mA). Das
Gerät überwacht
zwei Grenzwerte. Als
Ausgang dient je
ein potentialfreier Wechselkontakt.
Wird der
eingestellte
Wert
erreicht,
so
schaltet
das
entsprechende Ausgangs-
relais und eine LED
in
der
Gerätefront signalisiert den
Schaltzustand. Das Eingangssignal (0-10
V, 0/4-20
mA)
sowie
die
benötigte
Schaltfunktion
(Maximal-
oder
Minimalgrenzwert)
sind mittels Taster
und LC
Display,
menügeführt, einstellbar. Das Eingangssignal 4-20 mA wird
auf
Drahtbruch
und Kurzschluss überwacht. Der ordnungs-
gemäße Zustand der
Stromschleife
wird über einen Stör-
meldeausgang
signalisiert. Die Gerätevariante VGW-2
/
N
beinhaltet außerdem
die
Betriebsart
,,Niveaulogik", in
welcher
der Ein- und
Ausschaltpunkt
unabhängig
voneinander eingestellt werden. Die beiden Ausgangsrelais
schalten
in
dieser
Betriebsart
synchron. lm
Betriebsmodus
werden
das
Eingangssignal,
die
eingestellten
Schalt-
punkte (Sollwerte), sowie
die
Betriebsart
im LC
Display
dargestellt. Das Gerät verfügt über ein Kunststoffgehäuse,
welches auf Normtragschienen aufgesteckt werden kann.

function
The VGW-2 limit switch outputs
limit
values
for
standard
signals (0-10 V, 0/4-20 mA). The unit monitors two limit
values. Each output
is in
the form of
a
floating changeover
contact.
lf
the
set
value
is
reached,
the
corresponding
output relay triggers and an LED
in
the front
panel of
the
unit indicates the switching
sfate. The input signal
(0-10
V,
0/4-20
mA) and the
required switching
function (maximum
or
minimum
limit value)
can be set
using
the
menu-
controlled buttons and
LC display. The input
signal 4-20
mA
is
monitored
for
line
breaks
and
short circuits. The
normal operating sfafe of the current loop is indicated via
a
fault alarm output. The
VGW-2
/
N
variant
of the unit also
includes
the "Level logic" operating mode,
in
which
the
switch-on and
switch-off points can be
set
independently
of
one
another.
The fuvo
output relays switch synchronously in
this operating mode.
Ihe
sef switching points (setpoints)
and the operating mode
are
visible
in the LC display during
operation. The
unit
has
a
plastic
housing which can
be
plugged in to standard mounting rails.
