Direction of Milling
▪ Milling must always be carried out against the direction of rotation
(counter rotation) of the milling cutter.
▪ Milling in the direction of rotation (parallel rotation) can cause the
routing cutter to be wrenched from the operator's hand (recoil).

Dust Extraction

1. Inhalation
dangerous to your health.
Wear a dust mask and always
work with an attached dust
extraction system.
2. To extract dust, connect the
suction hose of a vacuum
cleaner or dust extraction
system to the flange of the
dust extraction adaptor.
Template Follower
The template
enables template and pattern
routing on workpieces. To use
the template follower remove
the two countersunk screws
from cut-out of the base
plate. Lay the
follower into the cut-out.
Make sure the template
follower faces downwards
(arrow) and secure it with the
countersunk screws. Lay the router with the template follower against the
template.
