Fasten the kit with two screws using either a screwdriver or a coin.

Re-connect all the cables you have disconnected.

Connect a telephone line cord to the LINE socket and an extension telephone line cord
to the EXT. socket.

If you purchased the serial type of fax kit, you just need to configure the telephone
connection as shown below:
The above figure is an example of the connection in France. For detailed instruction,
consult your telephone service provider.

Turn on the machine.

Refer to the user's guide provided with your machine to configure the kit to the
machine.
