touching uninsulated product parts that may carry
hazardous voltage.
Warning
This symbol is used to indicate safety instructions
or to draw your attention to specific hazards
and risks.
Note
This symbol is used to indicate additional
information or important notes.
2. Explanation of symbols used on the
product label
The article may only be connected by
a qualified electrician who complies
with national regulations and those of
the local energy supply company, and
who has sufficient knowledge regarding
installation locations, fire protection
and electrical installation work.
The product is intended only for use
inside buildings.
Attention! There is a risk of electric
shock on contact.

4. Safety instructions

Warning
• The switch is part of the building installation.
During planning and setup, the relevant
national standards and directives must be
observed. The device may only be operated on
a 230 V 50 Hz AC voltage network. Work on
the 230 V network must only be carried out
by an electrician certified in your country. The
applicable accident prevention regulations must
be adhered to.
• To avoid an electric shock from the device,
please disconnect the mains voltage (switch off
the automatic circuit breaker). Failure to comply
with the installation instructions can cause fires
or other hazards.
• The installation must be carried out only in
conventional flush-mounted sockets with a
minimum depth of 60 mm.
• When connecting to the device terminals, note
the permissible cables and cable cross-sections
for this.
• Do not use any heat-generating devices (such as
electric blankets, coffee machines, etc.) with this
product. There is a risk of fire and injury.
• Do not use this product with any devices that
are motorised or any devices that have a rotat-
ing component or tool. There is a risk of injury.
• Observe the circuit diagram carefully!
