2.8. Power supply

Please note: Even in standby mode some parts of the product
are live. To disconnect the power supply to the product or to iso-
late the product entirely from voltage sources, disconnect the
product from the mains completely by unplugging the power
adapter.
• Plug the mains adapter into AC 100-240 V~ 50 Hz earthed
sockets only. Contact the local electricity provider if you are
not sure if the socket is earthed or not.
• Use only the mains adapter supplied (Ktec
KSAS0241200150HE). Never try to plug the mains adapter
into other sockets as this may cause damage.
• The product uses electricity in standby mode due to the
remote control charging function.
• For extra safety, we recommend using an overvoltage
protector to prevent the product from being damaged as a
result of power surges or lightning strikes.
• Do not use the product during thunderstorms. There is a risk
of damage from lightning. Disconnect the product from the
mains completely during a thunderstorm by unplugging the
adapter.
• To disconnect the power supply, unplug the mains adapter
from the socket.
• The mains adapter must still be easily accessible when
connected so that it can be unplugged quickly in an
emergency or in case of danger.
• Do not cover the mains adapter in order to avoid the risk of
overheating.
• Never touch the mains adapter with wet hands! There is a risk
of electric shock!
