Special requirements for the USA and Canada
Per device only one antenna may be connected.
To connect the antenna use the antenna connectors R1A1, R1A2 or R2A1,

R2A2.

Antenna connector
The antenna can only be used on one antenna connector (R1A1 or R2A1) per WLAN
interface. The remaining antennas must be fitted with a terminating resistor.
Procedure
5. Screw the flexible connecting cable for the SCALANCE W device onto the
antenna. The tightening torque at the N connector is 1.7 Nm.
6. Make sure that the flexible connecting cable does not cause any tensile load on
the SCALANCE W device or on the antenna. When necessary provide strain
relief for the cables.
