It is advisable to start with a low torque setting and step up as necessary.
This way, the risk of damaging bit and screw during tightening is greatly
reduced.

Turning ON and OFF

To turn the Twin Drill on, press the ON/OFF switch (5). To turn the Twin
Drill off, release the switch.
The speed is regulated with the ON/OFF switch as well. Pressing the
ON/OFF switch regulates the speed; the deeper the switch is pressed, the
faster the machine runs.
With the rotating direction toggle switch (6) the machine can be switched
from clockwise to counter clockwise operation and vice versa.
In the middle position the ON/OFF switch is blocked. Use this position
when the machine is set down to prevent accidental start up. The rotating
direction toggle switch can only be operated while the ON/OFF switch is
not pressed.

The Electronic Safety Shut-Off

During operation, the current of the battery is permanently monitored to
ensure a long service life of the Twin Drill and the Lithium-Ion battery.
If excessive currents are detected, the Twin Drill is turned off. Release the
ON/OFF switch and resume operation after 3 seconds.
Additionally, the temperature of the Lithium-Ion battery is monitored.
If the temperature rises over 60°C the protective circuitry turns off the
charger. When the temperature has dropped under 60°C, the charging
process continues.
According to our experience this may take up to 3 minutes.
