Installation
To operate this resistance thermometer with a temperature converter, the
terminal block at terminals 1 and 2 must be replaced with a terminal block with
a test socket. For operation with cold junction compensation, use terminal block
KC-STP-BU or KC-STP-GN.
In the case of temperature converters equipped with spring terminals, the
terminal block at terminals 3 and 4 must be replaced with a terminal block with
screw terminals and no test socket. Terminal blocks KC-ST-5BU and
KC-ST-5GN are available as accessories.
Replacing the terminal block and connecting the cable
1. Loosen the terminal screws on the terminal block (1) housing terminals 1
and 2.
2. Pull the conductor (5) out of the terminal block (1).

4. Fit the terminal block with test socket (2).
ENG
Use the blue terminal block KC-STP-BU for applications involving devices
in the hazardous area.
Use the green terminal block KC-STP-GN for applications involving devices
in the safe area.
