BATTERIES
Recommended types are 2 x LR1:
chargeable NiCd (LBB 5931/02) or none-
chargeable Alkaline (LBB 5312/00).To
change batteries see fig. 2(15).
A 3-position switch located behind the
batteries is used to select the type of
batteries used in your receiver. Contact
yoursystem installer.

Low battery warning.

In low battery state the receiver
performs the following:
• Emits a low battery bleep (if enabled)
every 4 minutes (approx.)
• Display 'low battery' icon (fig.3(A))
• Numeric display blinks
• If no action is taken to change or
charge the batteries after approx. 60
minutes the receiver performs the
following:
- switches OFF after first emitting a
long warning bleep.
NOTE: In 'LOW BATTERY' state it is
advisable to change or charge the batteries
as soon as possible to guarantee correct
operation.

Storage racks

The receiver has three contacts (fig.1(8))
used for charging and programming the
receiver when placed in its charging/storage
rack. One contact can also provide 'Absent'
indication.
While the receiver is in the storage rack,
new messages will be stored in the
memory stack.When taken out of the rack
it will emit two attention bleeps to indicate
that new messages have been received.
NOTE: For correct operation ensure that
the receivers external contacts (fig.1(8)) are
kept clean and clear of impurities.
3-POSITION USER SWITCH
The 3-position user switch (fig.1(9)) has
numerous functions and is installer and type
dependent (with or without vibrator).
Contact your system installer for its
functionality.The switch can have the
following functions:
• Switch the receiver ON/OFF
• Switch volume between silent* (no
ICON)/soft
• Enable/disable special group calls
(decimal)
*If the bleep volume is switched to 'silent',
incoming calls are indicated by the short
