Before first Use

Pull out the transparent strip from the
battery compartment (Y) located at the
bottom. It has been added for transporta-
tion safety.
The display of the clock shows time, date
and the calendar overview. A melody is
played back.
Press any key on the key pad to stop playing back the melody.
Note: Press the button (6). The display automatically slowly folds
up. The key pad for operating the clock/calendar/calculator is
accessible.

Inserting / Replacing the Batteries

One battery compartment for the radio and one separate battery
compartment for the clock/calendar/calculator functions are located
at the bottom of the unit.
1. Open the battery compartment (Y) with a precision screwdriver.
2. Insert two new batteries type LR44 into the battery compartment.
Pay attention to the proper polarity of the batteries.
3. Close the battery compartment with the screw.
A melody is played back as soon as the battery compartment is
closed. Press any key on the key pad to stop playing back the
melody.
4. Compress the small latch of the battery compartment (X) and
remove the cover from the battery compartment.
5. Insert two new batteries type LR03 (AAA). Pay attention to the
proper polarity of the batteries.
6. Close the battery compartment.
