Before first Use

1. Remove the device from the packaging. Keep
packaging material out of reach of children. There is a
risk of suffocation!
2. A suitable battery is preinstalled in the device. The
battery is protected by a transport safety strip. Pull
out the protruding insulation strip from the battery
compartment (6) to start-up the device.
Exchanging the Batteries
Replace the battery if the display gets weaker.
1. The battery compartment (6) is located on the
underside of the folding upwards element of the
calculator. Remove
screw of the battery compartment
cover and open the battery com-
partment.
2. Insert a new battery of the type
LR1130 (AG10) into the battery
compartment. Pay attention to the
proper polarity of the battery. The
plus pole is facing out of the
battery compartment.
3. Close the battery compartment with the battery
compartment cover and secure it with the screw.
