Error Messages

If the kitchen scale is not placed on a solid an even
surface, it will show this error message. Position the
kitchen scale on a solid and even surface.
If you overload the scale the displays will show this error
message. In this case, remove the weight and weigh only
a part of the food. The maximum load of the scale is 5 kg.
When the battery is empty, the display will show this error
message. Replace the old battery by a battery of the
same size and dimension.
If there is already a weight of more than 2 kg on the
kitchen scale and the scale is switch on afterwards, the
display will show this error message. In this case, remove
the weight, switch off the scale and on again and re-place
the weight on the scale for weighing again.

Inserting the Battery

1. Turn the scale upside down, Open the battery compartment cover and
remove the cover.
2. Take off the old button cell and insert a new one of type CR2032 with
the +pole facing upwards into the battery compartment.
3. Close the battery compartment again with the cover.

Cleaning and Storing


Wipe the digital kitchen scale with a lightly moistened cloth. Use glass
cleaner or detergent as needed and dry the scale thoroughly. Do not
clean the scale with aggressive chemicals or abrasives.

Make sure liquid cannot enter the housing of the kitchen scale.

Store the kitchen scale indoors on a dry place that is protected from
dust, heat and humidity.

Do not stack or place objects on the kitchen scale for an extended
period of time.

In the event of prolonged non-use (several months), remove the
battery to avoid battery leakage and damage to the scale.
