Mounting the Wheel Assy

1. Tighten the wheel Assy (9) with the wing
nut. Screw the wing nut only hand tight.
2. Make sure to attach the wheel Assy as
shown in the picture on the right. The
bevelled part of the wheel Assy must point
outwards.

Using as Edge Trimmer

1. Turn the motor housing up to 90° by using the push
button (11) for the motor swivel head.
2. Fold up the tree protective bracket (10). Now you
can effortlessly cut the edge of the lawn.

Inserting and replacing the Spool

The lawn and edge trimmer is equipped with automatic feeding. To ensure
proper function of the automatic feeding mechanism, please wait until the lawn
and edge trimmer has come to complete standstill after switching off the
trimmer. Each time the trimmer is switched off and on, the automatic feeding
mechanism will release the cutting line a little bit.
The rotating cutting line in the spool will wear out over time or might tear off
during use. Bad cutting performance will be the result.
1. Remove the battery from the lawn and edge trimmer!
2. Turn the lawn and edge trimmer upside down. Grasp the spool
cover (18) on the left and right grooved sides and lift up the
cover. Take out the empty spool and replace with a new one of
the same type.
3. Place the cutting line through the provided
opening. Pull out the cutting line until it touches
the cutting line cutter (17). Place the cover on
the spool.
4. Insert the battery into the battery carrier and start
the lawn and edge trimmer. Allow the trimmer to
run on no-load. The length of the cutting line will
be shortened automatically with the cutter.
