■ You can also clean the toasting surfaces
1) To do this, simply press the Release button for the upper toasting surface
and the Release button for the lower toasting surface

2) In order to replace the toasting surfaces
protruding latches into the corresponding openings (see following illustra-
tion).
3) Afterwards, firmly press the toasting surfaces
they audibly click into place. After the cleaning process, we recommend
re-greasing the toasting surfaces
■ Dry all parts well before re-use.
NOTE
If fat or food runs into the grooves or corners where you cannot remove it
with a damp cloth, proceed as follows:

Dab off fat or other liquids with a piece of kitchen paper.

Remove the residues with a wooden spatula or a small wooden
skewer.

Afterwards, wipe off everything as described above.
