ASPECT FLAG:
Specify the
treatment of an
aspect ratio
identification
signal included
within the SD
signal.
Note
If the aspect ratio
identification signal
cannot be detected,
the setting of UP
CONV MODE
applies.
UP CONV MODE:
Select the aspect
ratio conversion
mode during up-
conversion.
Level 3
OFF: The up-
converter mode
ignores the
aspect ratio
identification
signal, and
follows setting of
UP CONV
MODE.
ON: The up-converter
mode follows any
aspect ratio
identification
signal recorded
on the tape or
aspect ratio
identification
signal attached
to the selected
input.
EDGE-CROP: Select
