Important!
Do not connect the USB cable
until you are prompted.
1. Insert the HP Photosmart CD into the
computer. If instructions do not appear, use
Windows Explorer to locate the setup
file on the CD and double-click it.
2. Follow the onscreen instructions to begin
installing the software.
3. When prompted, choose the installation
type: Full or Express.
If you want to use the HP Instant Share
feature on the camera, you must install
the Full version of the software.
Note: Express is the only option for
Windows 98 and Me systems.
4. When prompted, connect the printer
to the computer using the USB cable
provided. It may take several minutes
(possibly longer on older systems) to
establish a connection and copy the
files to your computer.
5. When the Congratulations screen
appears, click Print a demo page.
Note: If you experience problems during
installation, see Troubleshooting on
pages 12–13.

1. Legen Sie die HP Photosmart-CD in den
Computer ein. Falls keine Anweisungen

angezeigt werden, können Sie mit Windows
Explorer die Datei setup.exe auf der CD
suchen und anschließend darauf
doppelklicken.
2. Befolgen Sie die Anweisungen auf dem
Bildschirm, um die Software zu installieren.
3. Wählen Sie den Installationstyp aus, wenn
Sie dazu aufgefordert werden: Vollständige
Installation oder Expressinstallation.
Wenn Sie die Funktion HP Instant Share für
die Kamera nutzen möchten, müssen Sie die
Vollversion der Software installieren.
Hinweis: Bei den Systemen Windows 98 und
Me ist nur die Expressinstallation verfügbar.
4. Schließen Sie das im Lieferumfang enthaltene
USB-Kabel an den Drucker und den
Computer an, wenn Sie dazu aufgefordert
werden. Es kann einige Minuten dauern (bei
älteren Systemen möglicherweise länger), bis
eine Verbindung aufgebaut wurde und die
Dateien auf den Computer kopiert werden.
5. Wenn die Meldung Herzlichen Glückwunsch
angezeigt wird, klicken Sie auf die Option
zum Drucken einer Demoseite.

Abschnitt zur Fehlerbehebung auf Seite 12–13.

1. Plaats de HP Photosmart cd in de computer.
Als er geen instructies verschijnen, zoekt
u het bestand setup.exe in Windows
Verkenner op de cd op. Dubbelklik op
dit bestand.
2. Volg de instructies op het scherm om de
installatie te starten.
3. Kies het installatietype: Volledig of Minimum.
Wanneer u HP Instant Share op de camera
wilt gebruiken, moet u de volledige versie
van de software installeren.
Opmerking: in Windows 98 en Me is
alleen de optie Minimum beschikbaar.
4. Sluit desgevraagd de printer op de
computer aan met de meegeleverde
USB-kabel. Het kan enkele minuten duren
(mogelijk langer op oudere systemen)
voordat een verbinding tot stand wordt
gebracht en de bestanden naar de
computer zijn gekopieerd.
5. Wanneer het scherm Gefeliciteerd verschijnt,
klikt u op Voorbeeldpagina afdrukken.
Opmerking: als tijdens de installatie problemen
optreden, raadpleegt u Problemen oplossen
op pagina 12–13.
