Inserting of the Milk Tank
To insert the milk tank into the compartment, place the upper part of the milk tank (9) on
the lower part of the tank (7).
Insert the milk tank into the compartment. Make sure that the milk tube directs to the
tube recess of the compartment. I once to indicate when the milk tank f the tank was not
inserted properly the device will not operate.
NOTE: The device will beep once to indicate if the milk tank is not positioned correctly.
Reposition it or check if the magnetic cover is missing.
Attach the milk spout to the frothing chamber. Direct the outlet of the spout towards the
drip plate or to the centre of the cup respectively to avoid accidental burns from hot
liquids.
Filling of the Milk Tank
Fill the milk tank with milk. Make sure that the quantity filled in is between the marks MIN
and MAX inside the milk tank.
Place the milk tank into the device. Make sure that it has been inserted correctly.

Filling the Water Tank

Fill the water tank with cold water. Make sure that the quantity filled in is between the
marks MIN and MAX inside the water tank.
Close the top lid. You will hear a click sound when closed properly.
Heating
Make sure that the water and milk tank are filled with the amount of liquid needed for
your intended operation.
Place a mug or coffee cup on the cup holder.
NOTE: You can adjust the cup holder to tall and short cups. Adjust the cup holder as
described in the chapter FUNCTIONS AND FEATURES. Align the milk spout to the
angle of the cup for proper operation and to avoid accidental burns by hot liquid.
Connect the device to a power outlet and press the button POWER.
The device will start pumping water for 3 seconds.
The POWER indicator will start to flash and the device will start to heat.
When the POWER indicator stops to flash the water has reached the appropriate
temperature for brewing hot beverages. The device is ready to start brewing.
Now your device is ready for use!
Now make preparations for the program you intend to use for brewing as described in
PROGRAMS.
