Trimming range specification
With this parameter you can specify the application-specific range limits within the
absolute limits which are specified by the sensor type. The new range limits form
the basis for the trimming function to reduce the characteristic error.

Trimming function
With the aid of the trimming function you can reduce the number of errors based
on the characteristic. If, for example you are working in the range from 0 °C to
100 °C, you can move the characteristic of the selected sensor into this range by
placing the trimming points at the limits of the selected range (see chapter 3.9):
– Selection of the lower trimming point (e.g. at 0 °C) and input of the correction
value
– Selection of the upper trimming point (e.g. at 100 °C) and input of the correction
value
– Repeat the procedure for channel 2 when you use differentiating or averaging
connections
