Ensures the temporally exact positioning
of the chart.
7) Distance travelled
An up- or downward move-
ment corresponds to 5 km.

The distance recording will
be interrupted if ...
• the time group switches have been set
to break time "
• the ignition has been switched off and
• the additional record (option) is not
active.
After switching on the ignition the record-
ing of the distance covered will be contin-
ued correctly in terms of time and
position.

Besides the direct reading of the records, there
is also the possibility of a precise evaluation of
the recorded data. Further details will be read-
ily provided by a Siemens VDO distributing
centre.

well as statements on the beginning and the
end of the use is required by law and forms
the basis of a later evaluation of the chart.
