Before using this device, please read the instruction manual carefully.
Please keep these instruction and, if possible, the carton with the in-
ner packing.
Use the electric kettle only as described in this manual and only for the heating of
water.
Do not use the device if the power cord or other parts of the device are damaged.
Have the device repaired by an authorized technician.
Do not allow the power cord to ride over sharp edges or corners or close to hot
surfaces.
Always place the device on an even surface during use. Do not place the device in
the sink or on the drying tray next to the sink.
Do not use the appliance outdoors, or near gas flames, oven plates or other heated
elements.
Never immerse the appliance in liquid.
Do not leave the appliance unattended. Keep children away from the Kettle and
power cord while in operation. Do not allow children or other persons in need of
supervision to use the appliance.
Use the Water kettle only with the included base and the base only with the kettle.
Do not overfill the device. The "MAX" mark on the Water Level Indicator indicates
the maximum fill level.
To avoid the appliance switching off due to overheating, always fill the water con-
tainer with at least 0.5 litres of water.
Skin contact with boiling water can result in severe burns. Please take extreme
care when drawing off boiling water.
High temperature steam may escape from around the cover during the heating
process. Do not touch any hot parts of the appliance while it is in operation.
Never operate the Electric Kettle without the cover.
Always switch the device off after use and unplug from the mains power. Before
cleaning the device, always disconnect the power plug from the socket. Do not un-
plug the plug from the socket by pulling the power cord, always grasp the power
plug.
Do not disassemble the device and do not attempt to repair it. The device does not
include parts which can be exchanged or repaired by the user.
The device is intended for domestic use only. It is not suitable for commercial use
involving continuous operation.
