Operation
Intended Use
The detector is for detecting metal and live wires in walls. It is
designed to fit into the handle of the drill depth gauge 91 38 20
and supply it with energy.
Unpacking Your Tool
Carefully unpack and inspect your impact wrench. Familiarise
yourself with all its features and functions.
Ensure that all parts of the tool are present and in good condition.
If any parts are missing or damaged, have such parts replaced
before attempting to use this tool.
Before the first use remove the insulating from the battery
compartment.
Inserting/replacing the Batteries
Slide open the battery compartment (5) on the end of the detector
where the contact terminals (6) are. Insert three coin cells
CR2032 into the battery compartment. The plus (+) poles of the
batteries must face the contacts. Close the battery compartment.
Switching ON and Calibration
Press the ON/OFF button (1) to turn on the detector. Put the
detector on the surface which you will be testing. Press the
button once then the LED will flash in sequence. DO NOT move
the sensor until you hear 2 beeps sound and the middle green
LED (3) is the only remaining light on which represents a
successful calibration. If you calibrate and red light is on you are
detecting metal or power please move your tool a bit and re-
calibrate. After Calibration the sensor is ready to use.
Detecting Metal and Voltage
After calibration slowly slide the unit across the surface. Mark the
spot where the light and sound turn on in your mind. Continue in
