Troubleshooting
If the keyboard cannot pair with a compatible tablet/smartphone or does
not respond to keystrokes, proceed as follows:

Check whether the batteries have been inserted the right way round
(polarity) .
♦
Check the charge level of the batteries and if necessary replace them .
♦
Check whether the keyboard is switched on .
Check whether the Bluetooth
♦
smartphone .
If you use several Bluetooth
♦
connection is disconnected . This may indicate that a previously paired
device is in range .
♦
Ensure that the shift lock button
connection code .
♦
Make sure that the keyboard is no more than 8 metres from the
tablet/smartphone and that no obstacles or electronic devices are
located in between .
If the special keys or other keys on the keyboard do not function or have the
wrong function, check whether the correct operating system and the country-
specific keyboard layout are set in the operating system . (See also sections
Special key assignments and Alternative key assignments in iOS) .
