Using
1. Attach the desired attachment on the ball joint (6). To adjust the
operating pressure, press the drain plunger against a firm smooth
surface (e. g. floor, table top, etc.) and pump in air with the pres-
sure lever (1).
2. Observe the pressure on the pressure gauge. The
normal operating pressure is between 2.5 and 3.5
bars. Please note the operating pressure must not
exceed 3.5 bars in order to avoid damages!
3. First check whether the connections of your
drainage system are tight and place the drain
plunger on the blocked drain.
4. Press the compressed air release button (2) on the handle to clear
the obstruction. Attention: The air inside the drain plunger is re-
leased with a loud bang! To achieve optimum action, press with
one hand against the pressure lever and release air with the re-
lease button (2). For best results, there must be as little air as
possible between the attachment of the drain plunger and the
obstruction. If required, fill the free space between the obstruction
and the pipe end on which the drain plunger is placed, with water.
5. Flush with plenty of water. If necessary, repeat the process several
times to remove stubborn obstructions.
Safety Valve
The safety valve is factory set. If pressure becomes too
high, air is released through the safety valve.
Do not modify the safety valve in any way.
Cleaning and Storing
Clean the drain plunger and the attachments with soapy water. Do
not immerse the drain plunger in water. Wipe the surface with a dry
or moistened cloth. Do not use abrasives or chemicals for cleaning.
Store the drain plunger out of reach of children. Protect the drain
plunger from dust and dirt.
