Please note the included General Safety Notes and the following
safety notes to avoid malfunctions, damage or physical injury:
 Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed
to use the unit, unless they are supervised and briefed for their safety by a
qualified person.
 Keep bystanders out of the working area. Do not
leave the lawn trimmer unattended after use. Do
not operate the trimmer if children or pets are
close to the unit.
 Use the lawn trimmer only for the intended purpose to cut grass around
flower beds and along sidewalks and trimming young shoots of leaves and
bushes that cannot be reached by the lawn mover.
 The lawn trimmer is not designed for professional use.
 Do not expose the lawn trimmer to rain. If possible, do not operate
the unit to cut wet grass.
 Before using, check the lawn trimmer for any damaged parts and
do not use the lawn trimmer if damages are detected.
 Wear suitable clothing use sturdy shoes and hearing
protection.
 Make sure to have a safety stand when operating the lawn trimmer. Do not
operate the lawn trimmer with sandals or barefoot. Always wear sturdy
shoes and long trousers.
 Keep fingers, hair, clothing and similar objects away from the
spool. Careful handling the lawn trimmer reduces the risk of injury.
 Do not attempt to remove cut material from the cutting area or to hold
material to be cut during operation. A moment of inattention while operating
the lawn trimmer may result in serious personal injury.
 When cutting grass, make sure not to touch stones, metal, wires etc.
Always make sure metal parts, fences etc. cannot be caught in. This will
lead to damage to the unit.
 Should the unit become damaged do not use it and have it repaired by a
professional or contact our customer support department. Do not disas-
semble the lawn trimmer or try repairing it yourself.
