Before first Use
Take out the unit and dispose off packaging material. Plastic bags etc. may
become a deadly toy for small children.
Inserting the Batteries
Turn the program selection switch (7) so the arrow (3) is pointing to the field OFF.
1. Flap down the lid from the battery compart-
ment (9).
2. Remove the lid. In the battery compartment
you will find the battery support. Pull out the
support and insert 4 LR6 (AA) batteries,
observing right polarity. The polarity symbols
are on the battery support.
3. Reinsert the battery support into the compartment. First, insert the small pin
into the provided notch und press down the lid until it fits into the housing and
locks audibly.
Setting-up the Time
When the batteries are inserted correctly, the display turns on immediately. Set
the current time. The time will be displayed in 12-hour mode.
1. Open the transparent lid (10) and press down the keys
keep the key pressed, the time will run more rapidly.
2. Close the transparent lid.
Setting-up the Watering Frequency
Press down the button (4), to adjusting the watering frequency, e.G. how often
you want to water.
1 st means daily watering
2 nd means watering every second day
3 rd means watering every third day
4 th means watering every forth day
5 th means watering every fifth day
6 th means watering every sixth day
7 th means watering once a week.
