Operation with two AAA rechargeable cells is of course possible, but because of
the lower voltage in comparison with conventional batteries, running time is
greatly reduced. Despite fully-charged cells, it is possible the MP-3 Player will not
switch on.

Thanks to the CompactFlash card standards, you can also use large-capacity
memory cards in the MP-3 Player. In fact use of a CompactFlash hard disk is
possible, but through its comparatively high current consumption the operating
life is however greatly limited. Additionally, this hard disk is very sensitive; you
should preferably not go jogging with the MP-3 Player!

Despite that in contrast to many others the MP-3 Player can play bit rates from 32
to 320 kb/s and can even handle MP-3 files in VBR format, it is possible that
some MP-3s cannot be played or can only be incorrectly played. On such occa-
sions, by trial and error use another bit rate or another encoding program when
creating MP-3 files.
Due to the high memory requirements with higher bit rates and the high price of
large CompactFlash memory cards, it is recommended that only MP-3 files with
128kb/s max. are played.
•
With bit rates higher than 128kb/s, the CPU inside the MP-3 Player is more hea-
vily loaded. This is revealed by slightly higher current consumption and through a
slowed reaction to the operation of a button.
When playing for instance 320kb/s MP-3s, setting the volume happens only very
greatly slowed down, approx. 10-20 times more slowly than with "normal" 128kb
MP-3 files.

Utilisation conforme
Le Player MP3 "Moveman" peut être utilisé pour l'audition de soi-disant fichiers
"MP3".
Toute autre utilisation que celle prévue par la présente notice d'emploi provoquera la
destruction de ce produit ; en outre, cela engendrera des risques comme le risque de
court-circuit, d'incendie, d'électrocution etc. L'appareil dans son ensemble ne doit ni
être modifié ou transformé !
