Decalcifying

 The intervals, in which the unit must be decalcified, depend on
how often the unit is used.
 Decalcify the unit every 3 – 4 months. Do not use vinegar for
decalcifying, but use a common lime-acid based decalcifying
agent. Follow the instructions on the package of the decalcifying
agent.
 For thoroughly cleaning the kettle, use a bottle brush and clean
the interior of the kettle in order to avoid calcification.

Cleaning and Storing

 Always unplug the appliance from the power supply before
cleaning.
 Wipe the housing with a lightly moistened cloth. Use detergent as
needed.
 Do not wash the device in a dishwasher and do not immerse it in
water or any other liquids.
 Dry the base and the electric kettle well before storing.
 Do not clean the appliance with aggressive chemicals or abra-
sives in order not to damage the surface.
 Store the electric kettle indoors in a dry place that is protected
from dust, dirt and extreme temperatures.
 Store the electric kettle out of reach of children.
