Intended use
The product is designed to be connected to a USB port of a computer and serves as a webcam. The LED lights
serve as an extra light source and provide the auto brightness adjustment control. The webcam is powered
by a USB.
Unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the device are inadmissible because of safety and approval
reasons (CE). Any usage other than described above is not permitted and can damage the product and lead to
associated risks such as short-circuit, fire, electric shock, etc. Please read the operating instructions thoroughly
and keep them for further reference.

Safety instructions
We do not assume liability for resulting damages to property or personal injury if the
product has been abused in any way or damaged by improper use or failure to observe
these operating instructions. The warranty/ guarantee will then expire!
The icon with exclamation mark indicates important information in the operating
instructions. Carefully read the whole operating instructions before operating the device,
otherwise there is risk of danger.

The product is not a toy and should be kept out of reach of children!
When used in conjunction with other devices, observe the operating instructions and safety notices of
connected devices.
The device should be handled with care. Do not drop it, as it may be damaged by the impact.
The product must not be subjected to heavy mechanical stress.
The product must not be exposed it to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, intense vibration, or
dampness.
If there is reason to believe that safe operation is no longer possible, the device is to be put out of operation
and secured against unintended operation. Safe operation is no longer possible if the device:

shows visible damages,

no longer works,
-
was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long period of time or
-
was subject to considerable transport stress.
Miscellaneous
Servicing, adjustment or repair works must only be carried out by a specialist/ specialist workshop.

Service or other experts.
4.
Installing the Webcam
Connect the camera to the computer before installing the software.
Follow the instructions carefully to avoid damage caused by incorrect operation.
1.
Select the desired installation position, taking the cable length into consideration when you choose the
position. Make sure the object you attach it to is stable. If you would like to clip it on your monitor, check that
the monitor frame is thick enough. If the monitor frame is too thin, the clip may cause image distortion on
the monitor and may damage the monitor.

Clip the webcam to the desired position.
3.
Plug the USB plug and the 3.5 mm microphone jack into a vacant USB port and the microphone socket
on your computer.
4.
Users are not required to install the driver. The camera is ready to use. You can install the software provided
which helps you in capturing pictures and recording videos.
5.
Insert the camera software CD into your computer's CD-ROM drive. The Setup screen should appear. If it
does not, please do the following:

Click "Start," and then "Run."

Type "D:\Launch.exe" and press the Enter key, where D: is the drive designation of your CD-ROM drive.
6.
Click "Install Utility Program" to install the webcam software and driver. Follow the on-screen instructions.
7.
The software and driver installation for the camera will start.
8.
After the installation is complete, the camera should be ready to use.
5.
Operation
Run the shortcut "CONRAD USB Webcam UTILITY" on the desktop or from the program files to capture
pictures or videos.

Select the desired resolution from:

4000 x 3000 pixels

Resolutions higher than 640 x 480 will be interpolated.
"SNAP" - same as the "SNAPSHOT" function in "EDIT"
"RECORD" - same as the "RECORD" function in "EDIT"
6.
Maintenance and Cleaning
The product does not require any maintenance and should never be disassembled for any reason.
To clean the lens, please use a lens brush or soft cloth to wipe and clean. Avoid touching the lens with
your fingers.
7.
Disposal
In order to preserve, protect and improve the quality of environment, protect human health and
utilise natural resources prudently and rationally, the user should return unserviceable product to
relevant facilities in accordance with statutory regulations.
The crossed-out wheeled bin indicates the product needs to be disposed separately and not as
municipal waste.

Select the location for photo and video storage and change the
