For Drilling
Set the mode switch (2) to the drill symbol.
 For Hammer Drilling
Set the mode switch (2) to the hammer drill
symbol.
 For Chiselling with loose Chisel
Set the mode switch (2) to the loose chisel
symbol.
 For Chiselling with fixed Chisel
Set the mode switch (2) to the hammer symbol

Maintenance and Cleaning

 Always keep the machine clean, dry and free from oil.
 Use only a dry or slightly moist cloth for cleaning the housing.
 Do not use abrasives or flammable substances such as
benzene, solvents, turpentine or similar.
 Keep the ventilation louvers clean and free from obstructions
to prevent overheating the machine.
 The carbon brushes may be replaced by a professional only.
 If any sort of malfunction occurs, immediately stop using the
machine. Have the machine repaired by a professional or
contact the Westfalia customer support department. Do not
attempt to repair the machine yourself.
