Switch on the already existing CEI 1 door chime unit.
Test the transmission of the new auxiliary transmitter by pressing
the connected door chime button. The transmission indicator (1)
lights, the radio transmission is initiated and the chime melody
sounds.
Service and care
The unit requires no servicing other than battery replacement
under battery operation. The unit should be cleaned externally
with a soft, dry cloth or brush only. Never use aggressive cleaning
materials or chemical solutions, otherwise the unit could be
damaged.

Fault-finding Tips
Transmission indicator does not light when the transmitter but-
ton is pressed:
• the transmitter battery is empty (applies only to battery
operation).
Limited range:
• the transmitter battery is weak (applies only to battery
operation).
• the radio transmission is being interfered with by other nearby
equipment, e.g. transmitters, 433 MHz weather station.
• the radio transmission is being attenuated by steel-reinforced
concrete walls or by metal objects.
• Two transmitters are being operated simultaneously and are
causing mutual interference.
Door chime module does not react to the auxiliary transmitter:
• an incorrect code has been set in the auxiliary transmitter. Set
the correct code as described under "Code Setting"
