Troubleshooting while Vacuum-Sealing
During bag vacuum-sealing, small amounts of liquids, crumbs or food
particles can be accidentally sucked into the air intake.
To prevent blocking the air intake, dry excessive moisture from the food
using a paper towel and if necessary, place a folded paper towel inside the
top of the bag, below the sealing seam.
For storing powdery or fine-grained foods preferably use a canister instead
of a bag. Do not overfill; always allow a margin of approx. 3 cm to the rim of
the canister.
If liquids etc. are sucked into the air intake by mistake, first thoroughly
clean the surface around the air intake (16) and the polyfoam pad (15)
before re-starting the process or vacuum-sealing a new bag.
If the unit does not reach the required vacuum level for some reason, it will
shut off automatically after 30 seconds.
Storing
Wrap the power cord around the cord storage
(19) and store the unit indoors in a dry place
that is protected from dust and dirt.
Store the unit out of reach of children.
