• The product is not suitable for conveying potable water or food.
• No people or animals must be present in the conveyed medium of the dirt water pump; there is a danger
of injury!
• Use suitable protective clothing if required to prevent danger to health when handling the contaminated
conveyed liquid or dirt water pump.
• Always disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket when you are no longer using the dirt water
pump, before removing any defects or cleaning/maintenance.
• Do not shut off the outlet side of the dirt water pump when it is in operation.
• The dirt water pump is not protected against running dry. Dry running causes damage to the shaft
sealing ring, which permanently blocks the pump wheel; loss of warranty/guarantee!
• The product is only suitable for use in temperate, not tropical, climates.
• Depending on the suction basket settings, larger dirt particles may enter the dirt water pump. In
detrimental cases, these particles may clog the hose or dirt water pump.
The dirt water pump must not be operated without supervision because of this. The dirt water pump must
be disconnected from the mains if you leave it.
• Do not pull the mains plug from the mains socket by pulling the cable. Always pull the mains plug from
the mains socket by the lateral grip areas.
• Never touch the mains plug with wet or damp hands; danger to life from electric shock!
• Hold or carry/transport the dirt water pump only by the carry handle but never by the mains cable.
• If the product is taken from a cold into a warm room (e.g. for transport), it is possible that condensation
develops (e.g. at the mains plug). This causes danger to life from electric shock!
Therefore, you should allow the product to warm up to room temperature before using it or connecting it
to the mains voltage. This may take several hours.
