Prüfung Fehlerstromschutzschalter
Nur wenn die Steckdose richtig angeschlossen wurde und der FI-
Tester "ANSCHLUSS OK" meldet kann der Fehlerstromschutz-
schalter getestet werden.
Hinweis:
Für eine fehlerfreie Messung müssen alle Verbraucher ausge-
schaltet sein wegen eventuellen Ableitströmen oder Fehlerströ-
men, die diese verursachen.
Öffnen Sie Ihren Stromverteilerschrank und lesen Sie den Auslöse-
strom Ihres FI- Schutzschalters ab. Die Höhe des Auslösestromes
muß angegeben sein! Bei älteren Gebäuden kann es vorkommen,
daß der Auslösestrom entweder 100mA, 300mA oder gar 500mA
beträgt. In moderneren Gebäuden ist die Verwendung von Fehler-
stromschutzschaltern mit Auslöseströmen von 10mA oder 30mA
Standard.
Führen Sie die Prüfung in fensterlosen Räumen oder
bei Nacht bzw. bei schlechten Lichtverhältnissen
nur dann durch, wenn Sie eine Taschenlampe oder
eine Art Notbeleuchtung (Notlicht o.ä.) zur Hand
haben; andernfalls stehen Sie im Dunkeln. Nach
Ablauf des Countdown ist bei korrekter Funktion
des Fehlerstromschutzschalters und korrekter Ver-
drahtung "der Strom weg". Achtung! Unfallgefahr!
Wenn der FI- Tester "ANSCHLUSS OK" anzeigt, erscheint beim
nächsten Tastendruck
'START VORTEST '
Bei diesem Vortest fließt ein Prüfstrom von ca. 3mA für 200ms zwi-
schen Phase und Schutzleiter. Bei diesem Prüfstrom darf der FI
noch nicht auslösen.
Bei diesem Vortest kann auch ein hochohmiger Erdkontakt erkannt
werden:

Electrical equipment connected after a fault-current circuit breaker
such as capacitors or rotary machines can considerably prolong the
measured tripping time.
In case of a test circuit without probe, a possible voltage between
protective conductor and earth affects the measurement.
Handling
Via the key the Fl- Tester is switched on (press key briefly), guided
through the program and switched of again (hold key pressed for
more than 2,5 seconds). If the key is not pressed for approx. 2 minu-
tes, the device switches off automatically (AUTO POWER OFF).
In each program part, a "flashing downward arrow" at the end of a
line indicates that you can continue by pressing a key.
Following each keystroke, an "upward arrow" appears to acknow-
ledge the action and to indicate that the key can be released.
Data storage
All results of the pre-test and of the Fl- Test are stored automatical-
ly. This data memory can be recalled by switching the device off and
then on again. "DATA MEMORY:" then appears on the display to
indicate that data from the previous test are in the memory and can
be displayed by again pressing the key. A flashing "M" at the end of
the line ("M" for memory) indicates that this is only the result of the
previous test. This data memory is deleted by pressing the key
again to continue. The data memory is only retained by prior turning
off of the device.
Battery replacement
Before putting the device into operation, insert 4 batteries of the
type AAA, UM4, Micro. The following procedure also applies when
replacing batteries.
To replace the batteries, unplug the FL- Tester, plug
the jumper from "GND-Ubatt" to "GND", replace the
batteries, and plug the jumper back to "Ubatt".
