The grease gun runs obstructive.
Lack of oil in air motor.
Fill a few drops of oil through the air inlet and let the unit
run for a few minutes.
The grease gun runs at normal speed but grease does
not escape.
Air pockets are inside the container tube.
Shortly press the valve button (2) at the head of the grease
gun to let any excess air escape from the air housing.
The grease gun runs slowly or does not run well.
The air motor is jammed with dirt particles. Air flow is
blocked by dirt.
Check the air and grease inlets for blockage.
Check the proper connection between the air fitting of the
compressor and the air fitting of the grease gun.
The plunger does not enter the grease cartridge.
The size of the cartridge does not correspond to the
standard sizes. The opening of the cartridge is rough or
irregular.
Check if the size of the cartridge corresponds to the
specifications.
Grease the surface of the plunger and the opening of the
cartridge.
Always use standard size cartridges.
Check the opening of the cartridge for damage. It should be
clean and exactly round. Otherwise the plunger rubber can
not enter the grease cartridge and the grease can not be
pushed out.
Remove a used cartridge from the container tube when
manually bulk loading grease.
