MeBvorgang:
Das MeBsignal wird dem Eingang ,,b" des MV 5-0 zugefuhrt.
Am MV 5-0 ist die Taste ,,Filter" zu dricken, am KM 5A
die
Tasten
,,1000 Hz-Kges" und ,,Cal. OdBV".
Der MeBbereich-
schalter Kanal ,,b" des MV 5-0 wird so eingestellt, da8 mit
dem Regler ,,Cal." des KM 5A
die Anzeige am Millivoltmeter
auf 100% < 100 Skalenteile gebracht werden kann. In wel-
chem MeBbereich das erreicht wird, ist fur die Messung un-
wichtig.
Nach der Calibrierung auf 100%
kann die Kges-Messung
durch Driicken der Tasten 100% ...1% am KM5A
vorge-
"nommen
werden.
Dabei
ist zweckmaBigerweise
mit dem
100-°-Bereich zu beginnen und solange der nachstkleinere
Bereich zu wahlen, bis die Anzeige gut ablesbar ist. Der an
der jeweiligen Taste angegebene Wert in % gibt den fur Voll-
ausschlag am Instrument geltenden Wert des Klirrfaktors an.
Bei etwas Ubung l&8t sich am Schirmbild
des MV 5-0 er-
kennen, welche Oberwelle den Hauptanteil des Klirrfaktors
bildet.

Test Procedure:
The test signal is supplied to input "b" of the MV 5-0. De-
press the "filter" key on the MV 5-0 and depress the keys
"1000 Hz Kio:* and "Cal. 0 dBV" of the KM 5A. Set the range
selector of channel "b" of the MV 5-0 to move the millivolt-
meter pointer deflection
to 100%

100 scale divisions,
using the "Cal." control of the KM5A. The test range used
is unimportant.
After calibration to 100%, measure
the total harmonic
dis-
tortion factor Kiot by depressing
the buttons
100%... 1%
on the KM 5A. It is advisable to start with the 100% range
and to select the next lower range until a good deflection
is obtained. The percentage value shown against the button
refers to the full scale meter deflection. After a small amount
of experience the screen display of the MV 5-0 will indicate
which harmonic forms the major portion of the distortion
factor.
