Fill the water tank with fresh, cold water (Fig. 2).

-
The graduations on the left are for large cups (120ml).
-
The graduations on the right are for small cups (80ml).
4
Open the filter holder support (Fig. 3).
5
Take a paper filter (size 102) and fold the sealed edges to prevent tearing and folding. You can
also use a permanent filter.
6
Put the filter in the filter holder (Fig. 4).
7
Put ground coffee (filter-fine grind) in the filter. Take the following amounts as a
reference: (Fig. 5)
-
for large cups: one heaped measuring spoon of ground coffee for each cup.
-
for small cups: one level measuring spoon of ground coffee for each cup.
Note: Use filter-fine ground coffee. If you grind the coffee yourself, do not grind it so fine that it is almost
powder-like.
8
Close the filter holder support (Fig. 6).
9
Place the jug on the hotplate (Fig. 7).
Make sure the lid is on the jug.
If the lid is not on the jug, the drip stop blocks the outflow opening of the filter and the coffee does
not drip into the jug.

Press the on/off button to switch on the appliance (Fig. 8).
11
When all the water has passed through the filter, you can take the jug out of the
