6. Installation
• Refer to the Technical Manual on the CD-ROM for instructions on how to perform the
hardware installation of the KSR10/USB.
• Refer to the Robotic Arm User's Manual (English only) on the CD-ROM for instructions
on installing software and drivers on the computer as well as instructions on how to use
the software for the KSR10/USB.
Please read these manuals thoroughly before bringing this device into service.
Note: opening the manuals on the CD-ROM requires Adobe
can be downloaded from www.adobe.com.
7. Important notice
• The motors that control the motions of the robotic arm are equipped with overload
protection systems.
• Once a motion reaches its minimum or maximum range, the protection will be activated
and a repetitive sound is heard from the controlling motor.
• Release the motion push button at once when the repetitive sound is heard. This
will prolong the life of the protection system and robotic arm.
