Loudspeaker „Cube"
with Lighting Effect

Intended Use
The product is intended for playing analogue audio signals (line-level) as they are applied e.g.
the line output from a sound card or of a portable CD player.
The connection for the audio signal is made via a 3.5mm jack plug; the power is supplied via an
internal LiPo battery, which can be recharged via USB.
This product complies with the applicable National and European requirements. All names of

Safety Instructions
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe
these safety instructions! We do not assume any liability for any consequen-
tial damage!
Nor do we assume any liability for material and personal damage caused by
improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions! The warranty
will be void in such cases.
• The unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the product is inadmissible because of
safety and approval reasons (CE). Never disassemble the product.
• The product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children.
• Only use the product in dry indoor locations. It must not get damp or wet.
• Do not leave packing materials unattended. They may become dangerous playthings for chil-
dren.
• Handle the product with care, it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or accidental drops, even
from a low height.
Charging the Battery
• The internal LiPo battery is permanently installed and cannot be replaced.
• Only charge the LiPo battery integrated in the loudspeaker via the mini USB connection, use
the USB cable provided.
• Normally, the LiPo battery is flat on delivery and it must be charged before the loudspeaker
can be used.
Audio playback is also possible during the charging process.
• Connect the mini USB jack on the loudspeaker to a free USB port on a computer or USB hub
via the USB cable provided.
With a completely flat rechargeable battery, the charging procedure lasts approximately
3 hours.
The USB connection for the loudspeaker is only used to recharge the internal bat-
tery; data/audio transfer is not possible. For this reason, Windows does not recog-
nise any new hardware.
The audio transfer between the playback device (e.g. PC, MP3 player or the like)
and the loudspeaker is only takes place via the 3.5mm jack plug!
Audio Playback
• Switch off the loudspeaker (switch position = „OFF").
• Connect the 3.5mm jack plug to the audio output of the computer or MP3 player or similar, via
the cable provided.
Only the line-level can be used as the audio signal. Higher signal levels will destroy
the loudspeaker set.
• Switch on the loudspeaker (switch position „ON").
• Adjust the volume on the playback device (computer, MP3 player or the like) as desired.

• With the loudspeaker switched on, two variable-colour LEDs (one per glass cube) create an
optical effect.

• Switch the loudspeaker off, when you do not want to use it, otherwise the LEDs will continue
to be activated, even though there is no audio signal available (e.g. PC switched off).

• Never look directly into the LEDs since this may lead to eye damage. Do not look into the LEDs
with optical instruments.
Tips and Instructions
• Since the USB port is only used for power supply, Windows will not recognize any new hard-
ware. The audio signal transfer to the loudspeaker set only takes place via the 3.5mm stereo
jack.
• Switch the loudspeaker off, when you are not using it in order to save electricity. When the
rechargeable battery is flat, the audio signal can not be played back.
• Set the volume on your PC or MP3 player; there is no volume control on the loudspeaker.
• The loudspeaker may also be used while it is charging.
Handling
• When setting up the product, make sure that the cables are neither kinked nor pinched.
• Protect the surfaces of valuable furniture with a suitable underlay, otherwise it may lead to
scratch marks.
Cleaning
Use a soft, clean, dry and lint-free cloth to clean the product. Dust can easily be removed using
a clean, soft brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Do not use aggressive cleaning agents as these can cause discoloration of the housing.
Do not press on the loudspeaker's surface too heavily, since this may lead to scratch marks.
