  • Seite 6 2. Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch Verwenden Sie das Gerät ausschließlich zum Öffnen und Wie- derverschließen einer bestehenden Folienverpackung. Das Gerät ist für den privaten Haushalt konzipiert und darf nicht für gewerbliche Zwecke eingesetzt werden. 3. Sicherheitshinweise Warnhinweise Falls erforderlich, werden folgende Warnhinweise in dieser Be- dienungsanleitung verwendet: GEFAHR! Hohes Risiko: Missachtung der Warnung kann Schaden für Leib und Leben verursachen.

  • Seite 8 GEFAHR durch Batterien Beachten Sie beim Einlegen der Batterien die richtige Polarität. Ersatz nur durch denselben oder einen gleichwertigen Typ. Batterien können beim Verschlucken lebensgefährlich sein. Bewahren Sie deshalb Batterien für Kleinkinder unerreichbar auf. Wurde eine Batterie verschluckt, muss sofort ärztliche Hilfe in Anspruch genommen werden.
  • Seite 9 Das Gerät ist für eine Betriebsdauer von maximal 1 Minute ohne Unterbrechung ausgelegt. Danach muss das Gerät ausgeschaltet bleiben, bis es auf Raumtemperatur abgekühlt ist. Verwenden Sie keine scharfen oder kratzenden Reinigungs- mittel. Schützen Sie das Gerät vor Stößen und lassen Sie es nicht fallen.
  • Seite 10 5. Inbetriebnahme • Entfernen Sie sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial. • Prüfen Sie, ob der Lieferumfang vollständig ist. 5.1 Stromversorgung WARNUNG vor Sachschäden! Beachten Sie beim Einlegen der Batterien die richtige Polari- tät (Grafik im Boden des Batteriefachs). 1. Schieben Sie den Batteriefachdeckel 1 vom Batteriefach und heben ihn ab.
  • Seite 11 6. Bedienen GEFAHR von Verletzung! Fassen Sie nicht in das Gerät und berühren Sie nicht heiße oder scharfe Teile. 6.1 Verschließen einer Folienverpackung WARNUNG vor Sachschäden! Das Gerät ist für eine Betriebsdauer von maximal 1 Minute ohne Unterbrechung ausgelegt. Danach muss das Gerät aus- geschaltet bleiben, bis es auf Raumtemperatur abgekühlt ist.
  • Seite 12 6.2 Öffnen einer Folienverpackung 1. Führen Sie das obere Ende einer Folienverpackung in das mit dem Symbol 5 gekennzeichnete Ende des Gerätes ein. 2. Drücken Sie das mit dem Symbol 5 gekennzeichnete Ende zusammen. 3. Bild C: Halten Sie die Verpackung mit der einen Hand fest. Ziehen Sie das Gerät mit der anderen Hand von einem zum anderen Rand der Verpackung und schneiden diese auf.
  • Seite 13 8. Aufbewahren GEFAHR! Bewahren Sie das Gerät außerhalb der Reichweite von Kin- dern auf. • Wenn Sie das Gerät längere Zeit nicht benutzen, entfernen Sie die Batterien. 9. Problemlösungen Sollte Ihr Gerät einmal nicht wie gewünscht funktionieren, gehen Sie bitte erst diese Checkliste durch. Vielleicht ist es nur ein klei- nes Problem, das Sie selbst beheben können.
