Installation instructions:
Remove the rear bumper from the vehicle.
1.)
Dismantle the regular holder as well as the reinforcement support, because these parts are no longer
needed.
2.)
Slide the basic frame 1 into the vehicle's sleepers and fasten it using the screws M10x35 from the
direction of the wheel cases as shown in the diagram.
Align the basic frame 1 to the vehicle and tighten the M10x35 screws.
3.)
Note!
Angular-controlled starting torque (M10x35 screws, quality class 10.9).
First tighten all screws alternating cross-wise with 50 Nm torque (±10% tolerance). Then turn all
screws alternating cross-wise by 90° more (+30° tolerance).
Assemble the electrical kit according to the extra instructions.
4.)
The socket holder can pivot and swivels sideways during towing.
A special socket with reduced height and cable attachment on the side is needed.
Disassemble the existing spoiler from the rear bumper and replace it with a new spoiler (original VW

Then attach the original lid.

Reattach the bumper cover with the standard screws.
6.)
The ball tow bar is operated according to the enclosed extra Operating Manual.
When the ball tow bar is removed the seal stopper 8 should be completely inserted into the ball tow bar
retainer socket.
Keep this retainer socket clean at all times.
Damage and soiling can be prevented by storing the ball tow bar securely in the tool kit so that it doesn't
skid.
